Habits shape us! It shapes our lives! It shapes our future! It shapes our entire personality!

40% of our actions are not voluntary decisions but habits so it becomes a lot necessary to check our habits regularly whether it’s drinking your morning coffee or being an escapist during big challenges. You can take control of your life by changing or modifying your habits.

Add these simple habits to your daily routine and see your life changing for the better.

Follow a sleeping schedule-

Maintain a proper sleeping schedule so that your body clock doesn’t get disturbed. When you go to bed and wake up at different and inconsistent time intervals your body isn’t able to relax properly and you might experience oversleep or undersleep. This directly affects your energy throughout the day. Fix a time to sleep and wake up and follow that daily without a lot of variation in the schedule.

Do a regular digital detox-

As we are shifting towards the virtual world more and more, we tend to overuse technology and inhabit more and more radiation which isn’t good for us in any way. Do a regular digital detox by fixing hours for using particular gadgets for work and leisure. Don’t use any gadget just before you sleep and just after you wake up.

Add music to your day-

Music has this amazing capability to add calmess to your mind and body. It not only helps you relax and soothes your soul but also helps you to kick away stress and anxiety. Add some soft music as you start/end the day. Listen to instrumentals during work that will help you concentrate more and learn magical experiences that music can do to you.

Have a morning workout routine-

Prep up your day with some physical activity preferably Yoga or a morning walk. When you move out for a walk in nature, you treat your lungs with the most fresh oxygen that energizes your entire day. If you can’t go out you can still do a workout routine at your home for atleast half an hour.

Eat a healthy breakfast-

Breakfast is the first meal of the day and undoubtedly the most important one. Pump your stomach with a healthy appetite in the morning before you start your daily routine. It is said that you should have your breakfast like a king which in a way means that you should have your breakfast as a full diet and not just light snacks.

Practice a mindfulness meditation-

Daily meditation of atleast 15 minutes helps you introspect the energies that are residing inside you. Like a digital detox helps you regain your energy, daily mindfulness meditation detoxifies all the negativity you have been inhabiting and helps you lead a mindful life free from stress and anxiety.

Practice gratitude-

Greet people with positivity and treat them with kindness. Even if you’re feeling a bad vibe flowing, try to understand the second perspective and do not add to the toxicity. Everyone is facing a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. And by remaining kind, gentle and humble, you will feel that your days are becoming better and this habit has already become a part of your character.

Brush up creativity-

Do something creative daily and enjoy seeing your other side. With excessive work pressure and house responsibilities you might have forgotten your hobbies you have always loved doing. Remind yourselves of your favorite pastime and pamper your right brain daily even if it’s just 15 minutes. It will keep you mentally healthy and happier.

Take regular breaks and relax-

Remember you are a human and you need relaxation. Even a machine needs time to recharge and get back to your best performance. So how are you going to be recharged? By taking breaks between work and relaxing your mind and body to keep going. Your daily routine should not only include tasks and work but also refreshments.

Modify your daily routine by adding these things in your life and make it your part.

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you make it.
